Privacy Policy
Moro · Last updated October 20, 2026
Moro is made by Ryan Katsanes. This policy explains what the app does with your information. The short version: your routines stay with you, and the developer never sees them.
No accounts, tracking or ads
There is no sign-up. Moro contains no advertising, no third-party analytics and no tracking, and it does not sell or share your data with anyone. The app doesn’t send your information to the developer or to any server the developer runs.
Your routines
Your routines, steps, reminder times, history and weekly letters are stored on your device. If iCloud is on, they sync through your private iCloud database using Apple’s CloudKit, and your settings sync through iCloud, so everything appears on your other iPhone and Apple Watch. Only you can see this data. The developer has no access to it. If iCloud is off, everything stays on your device.
Moro’s widgets, Lock Screen views and Apple Watch app read the same data on your own devices.
Reminders
Reminders are scheduled on your iPhone as local notifications. When Moro suggests a better reminder time, it works that out on your device from the times you have started a routine.
Describing your day
During setup, you can describe your day in your own words and Moro drafts some starter routines. This uses the Apple Intelligence model that runs on your iPhone. What you type never leaves your device. It’s optional, and it’s available only on iPhones that support Apple Intelligence.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by Apple. The app learns only whether you have Premium, never your payment details.
Deleting your data
- Delete a routine in the app. It is removed from all your devices.
- Deleting the app removes the data stored on that device.
- To remove the copy in iCloud, open your iCloud storage settings on your iPhone, choose Moro and delete its data.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new date.
